Grease-Cutting Hydro Jetting in Newport Beach, CA

By late spring, the cafes and bistros along Corona del Mar's stretch of Pacific Coast Highway are carrying a winter's worth of grease in their kitchen lines, and the summer crowds are only weeks away. Across Newport Beach, we use hydro jetting on those lines ahead of the season, scouring grease and settled sand off the pipe wall while the kitchens are closed.

Where grease meets sand

Why coastal lines clog harder, and how jetting clears them

Restaurant lines near the harbor collect two things at once. Kitchens send down fats and oils, and where tidal-influenced groundwater seeps through a worn joint, it carries fine sand in with it. Grease binds that sand into a dense, gritty layer that a cable punches through without removing. A rotating jetting nozzle scours the full pipe wall and flushes the mix to the main. If the camera finds a joint letting sand in, our sewer services crew can quote that repair separately.

Timing matters as much as pressure here. Kitchens in Lido Marina Village, along Mariner's Mile and on the Corona del Mar strip run hardest when visitors fill the coast, so we set the main jetting visit ahead of the busy months and add intervals from what the camera shows. Offices in Newport Center and near John Wayne Airport carry lighter restroom and break-room loads and usually need far fewer visits.

Why VeriTech for hydro jetting in Newport Beach

Kitchens ready before the rush

A jetting visit timed ahead of the busy months clears the grease the slower season left behind, so a full summer dinner service in Lido Marina Village is not the night the line gives out.

Sand flushed out, not packed down

Cabling can push grit deeper into a sag. Jetting lifts sand and grease off the pipe floor and walls and carries it to the main, so low spots near the harbor refill more slowly.

Finished surfaces left alone

We work from existing cleanouts, so the paver entries, tiled patios and polished floors common at coastal commercial properties stay untouched while the line is cleaned.

Hoses out after closing

Crews arrive once the last table turns or before the restaurants around Fashion Island open, so diners, shoppers and office tenants never step around a jetting hose.

How it works

One call, one accountable team. Here's exactly what to expect.

01

Camera the line and joints

We run a camera from a cleanout to read pipe material, buildup and any joints admitting sand or water, and confirm the line can take jetting pressure.

02

Scour grease & sand

A rotating nozzle sized to the pipe scours the full wall, breaks up grease bound with sand, and flushes the loosened material downstream to the main.

03

Verify & set the calendar

A second camera pass confirms the wall is clean, and we set the next visit around your busy season and what the footage showed.

Newport Beach Hydro Jetting FAQs

Still unsure about something? Call (714) 715-3315 and ask. We're happy to talk it through.

  • Ahead of the busy season works best for most kitchens. A visit in the slower months clears what built up over the year, and the camera footage tells us whether a second visit should land mid-season. High-volume kitchens on the Balboa Peninsula or in Lido Marina Village often need shorter intervals than a cafe with a small menu.

  • It depends on what the camera shows, which is why we look first. Pipe in sound condition takes jetting well. Where we see heavy corrosion, offset joints or cracking, we lower the pressure, change the nozzle, or recommend a repair before jetting, since full pressure against a failing section can make it worse.

  • Yes. Sand that seeps in through worn joints tends to settle in sags and mix with grease into a heavy layer. A jetting nozzle lifts that material and carries it to the main. Jetting does not seal the joint letting sand in, so if the camera shows that entry point, we note it and the repair is quoted separately.

  • Both. Office buildings in Newport Center and near John Wayne Airport have break-room sinks, restroom stacks and building laterals that build up scale and residue more slowly than a kitchen line. Those usually need jetting less often, and we set the interval from camera footage rather than a fixed calendar, working evenings or weekends so tenants are not disrupted.

  • Yes. Centers with several food tenants, such as those around Fashion Island or along the Corona del Mar strip, can be scheduled as one overnight visit. We camera and jet each tenant's line, then the shared lateral, and give the property manager notes for every line so each tenant's interval can be set on its own.
